One of the biggest challenges with having children is making sure that they are taken care of while still having them learn to be independent. As my kids are growing older, I am finding it hard allowing them to do things for themselves that I normally do for them.
My grandmother and I don’t agree on many things even vaguely political. I’m a pretty hardcore liberal, and she calls Rush Limbaugh her boyfriend. She advocates law school for me because all of the commentators on Fox News are also attorneys. That probably sums up the majority of our interactions on belief systems, and points-of-view, but for once we agreed on something: American kids believe that they are entitled without working hard.
One of the biggest challenges that I have found after having kids is getting things around the house done. Now, this does get easier as the kids get older and can help you more, but when they are younger it can prove to be a problem. Through having three kids, there have been a few things that I have found that help to keep the kids busy while I do what I need to do.
